"What Would You Say" to a preview of the new Dave Matthews Band album? "I Did It" is more of the band's trademark jammy (yet radio-friendly) sound.

"I Did It" almost could have been called "Oops, I Did It Again," since it doesn't sound too different from many of the band's previous hits, especially the upbeat, jammy tunes like "What Would You Say" and "Ants Marching." Far from just cloning previous tracks ala Britney, though, the similarity is mostly in the vibe -- "I Did It" isn't going to be mistaken for anyone else, as soon as you hear it, you know it's DMB. As such, the track's sure to please the band's legions of fans, loaded as it is with typical DMB danceable energy and radio-friendly harmonies. Not really breaking any new ground (okay, maybe the guitars are a little bit heavier in some places), but then, that's not what their fans want, anyway. DMB fans just want to dance and have a good time, and "I Did It" will give them that, and then some.
