MUSICBLITZ ADDS FORMER TICKETMASTER MERCHANDISING GENERAL MANAGER BRET MOORE AND FORMER e4L EXECUTIVE ERIC BESNER TO ITS SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAM

LOS ANGELES-March 6, 2000-MUSICBLITZ, a consumer-oriented music company that is redefining the relationships between consumers, artists and record labels, today announced that it has added Bret Moore, vice president of product development, and Eric Besner, vice president of business development and legal affairs, to its senior management team. Moore will be charged with developing new products and strategies for MUSICBLITZ, and overseeing the development of MUSICBLITZ's Web site and genre-specific Web communities, which currently include BluesBLITZ and ReggaeBLITZ. He will incorporate new consumer-focused features and technologies into MUSICBLITZ's sites and he will be responsible for other initiatives currently under development. Besner will be responsible for new business development opportunities and strategic partnerships at MUSICBLITZ, as well as legal affairs. He will work with artists, television and movie producers on contracts for the creation and licensing of all materials.

"Bret and Eric are two entertainment industry veterans whose experience in creating and executing online marketing strategies and business development, respectively, will help us achieve these goals. Moore brings over five years of music industry marketing experience to MUSICBLITZ. Most recently he was general manager of the merchandising group at Ticketmaster. During his tenure, he managed the company's direct-to-consumer merchandising business, a platform for integrated e-commerce and direct marketing programs targeted to Ticketmaster's live entertainment consumer base.

Besner also brings extensive music and television experience to MUSICBLITZ, having previously held the position of associate general counsel and senior director of business affairs at e4L (parent company of Quantum Television & BuyItNow.com). Prior to e4L, he was the director of business affairs for the television division of Sunshine Amalgamedia, Inc., a Silicon Alley innovator of digital, television, film and cross-media entertainment. During Besner's tenure, he focused on the Sunshine TV production "On Tour," a music television show that showcased such top artists as Smashing Pumpkins, Beck, The Goo Goo Dolls and Sting.

In addition to Bret Moore and Eric Besner, MUSICBLITZ today announced the hiring of Jay Sosnicki as web producer. Sosnicki, most recently a music journalist at Checkout.com, has an extensive background as a freelance writer/publisher and will be responsible for gathering and producing editorial content on MUSICBLITZ's Web sites.

These additions to the MUSICBLITZ team follow on the heels of the Company's February 22 announcement of other recent new hires: Mike Mena, vice president of artist development/Los Angeles; Rebecca Carroll, vice president of artist development/New York; Lisa Feldman, director of soundtracks, film, and television licensing; and Stan Savage, director of artists and repertoire (A&R).
