Welcome !
    Leggo Beast
Electronic artists are notorious for recording under various monikers, and the gentleman known -- for now – as Leggo Beast is no exception. A little history to assuage any confusion: Robert Ellerby (aka Beige) and Murray Clarke originally worked under the name Opik, and were responsible for the early 12” release “Feel Yourself.” The track was later snapped up by Deconstruction but was never released. Some while later Opik re-emerged on Pork Recordings as Bullitnuts, releasing their first album 1st of the Day in 1996. Their subsequent releases Nut Roast in 1997 and 1998’s A Different Ball Game saw Rob supplying guitar and bass and both providing keyboards and programming. Murray’s brother, Billy, has also added the occasional axe solo to their songs.

In May 2000, Murray Clarke released his debut solo album entitled From Here to G under the name Leggo Beast. He is due to release his second solo album in January 2001, but in the meantime, audiences are invited to enjoy this MUSICBLITZ Exclusive, “Flik Flak.”
