Unfortunately, Days frontman Travis Meeks sacked them (citing bad vibes and the usual "creative differences") shortly after their eponymous first album rocketed up the charts, leaving Whitener, Vest, and Taul to retreat to Louisville and lick their wounds. Rather than throw in the towel, however, the guys hooked up with vocalist Hugo Ferreira, and began to write songs.
