Melissa Ferrick
Talented singer and songwriter Melissa Ferrick got her first big break in the music business back in 1991 when she was asked to open up for alternative icon Morrissey at the Great Woods Amphitheater in Boston. Her impressive performance landed Melissa on the remainder of Morrissey's U.S. tour, after which the engagement was extended to include his entire U.K. tour. Upon her return, she inked a deal with Atlantic Records and released the albums Massive Blur (1993) and Willing To Wait (1995). Melissa also developed a loyal fan base, one that continues to grow to this day, while touring with the likes of Bob Dylan, Paul Westerburg, John Hiatt, Kristen Hersh and others. In 1998, Melissa released her album Everything I Need, which received overwhelmingly positive reviews from fans and critics alike. Her success helped land her a spot on the 1998’s run of the Lilith Fair Tour.
Melissa's passionate and sincere songwriting has a folksy twinge to it, yet it appeals to a wide-ranging audience that appreciates a mature and talented artist. It's no surprise that with Melissa's talent, her reputation continues to evolve.
"Fear And Time" is an intelligent work of musical art which expresses honesty and integrity in a pleasant audible form, both musically and lyrically. This single will appeal to a vast audience that appreciates everything from Jewel to Melissa Etheridge. It’s safe to say this track deserves your immediate, uninterrupted attention, so turn down the lights and emerge yourself in a thoughtful trance with "Fear And Time."
