Their sample-free sounds come courtesy of DJ/producer Chops, who shares rhyming duties with Peril-L and Styles. With a style reminiscent of classic Native Tongues tracks, the Philadelphia trio landed a contract with Ruffhouse/Columbia Records in 1996, but left after only a year due to creative differences.
