Their debut album, 3 Feet High And Rising (1989) yielded the hit single, “Me Myself & I.” While still wacky and innovative by hip hop standards, the group’s sophomore effort, De La Soul Is Dead (1991) took on a more sober, less quirky tone. None of their subsequent albums have enjoyed the pop success of 3 Feet High..., but over ten years after they first hit the scene, De La remains a staple with the core hip-hop set. In addition to their solo material, as part of the Native Tongues posse, they’ve helped pollinate hits for both the Jungle Brothers and A Tribe Called Quest.     De La Soul All Good? (feat.
