	Who knew Ice Cube's gangsta rap classic could translate to melodic hardcore punk so easily -- or so well? In H2O's capable hands, "It Was a Good Day" becomes a muscular shout-along that's sure to see some serious pit action at shows. All buzzsaw guitars and rapid-fire delivery, the song loses none of its power for the switch in genres -- and really, lyrics like "Plus nobody I know got shot in school today / It was a good day" are probably even more relevant today than they were when Ice Cube's original was released in the early '90s. Cube should be proud of what these young punks have done with his song, and the punk rock contingent will be happy with the results, too.

Yes! H-2-O GO! these guys are the greatest, haven't seen them around in a while. This track is a little faster than their older stuff- but still a promising group with promising music.
