Mack 10 fans won’t be disappointed as the Wesssiiide rapper reminds us where he’s from to the tune of a bouncy, Hot Boy$-esque, electro-rap track. Don’t let the drop-top Bentley, the house in the hills or the eight-figure bank statement fool you. Despite his commercial success, Mack Dime assures us he’s still the same khaki-wearing fool from the block who used to sell dope, the same crazy nut who will “push your dome back” if you mess with him. “Sell an ounce for me!” he tells all the “hoodrats, robbers and pit bull squabblers” still inhabiting the ghetto streets where he spent his formative years – it’s so good to know he’s evolved! While the lyrics are predictable, Mack 10’s forceful, caricature-style macho posturing is effective. A master storyteller, he makes this kind of standard gangsta schtick stick.
