Stillwater Fever Dog Album: Almost Famous Soundtrack
Genres: Rock
Stillwater shows it's good to be stuck on Band-Aids with this '70's gem. Does anyone remember laughter? |

Wearing their influences on their sleeves like a worn out, beer-stained concert t-shirt, Stillwater rock slow and low on this slinky 70's gem. Equal parts "Stranglehold" and "When the Levee Breaks", "Fever Dog" comes scratchin' at your back door and plants itself so firmly in your consciousness you'll find yourself singing it at every turn. Jeff Bebe works the dark vocals but still can't outshine Russell Hammond's incendiery six-string attack. So fire up the black light, raise your lighters high, and surrender to the dog you just can't tame.

I'm pretty sure this wasn't a 70s gem. There was a band in the 70s called Stillwater, but Nancy Wilson of Heart co-wrote this tune for the movie Almost Famous.

I don't care much about still water, but the movie was great.
