Oh no! More wacky jamband tomfoolery! This time at the hands of Taos Hum, a band that wears their silliness on their sleeve like some kind of freakish Boy Scout badge. If you can get past the annoying vocals (We goin’ for the Zappa thang here, boys? Yeah, thought so.), then kudos to you because they… are… annoying. The guys should be commended for creativity, as the song ventures into a trippy spoken segment backed by a disjointed groove that’s sure to give you whiplash should you try to dance to it. This is immediately followed by nonsensical babbling and noisemaking and a verse of “Tomorrow” from the feel-good Broadway hit Annie and then we’re taken straight back into the meat of the song (which, as far as I can tell, is about taking off your pants). “It’s all my choice, it’s all my voice!” they sing, and it’s all your choice as to whether you listen to their voice. Standard jamband boogie fare with an irritating, tripped-out twist, this one’s not gonna win ‘em any new fans.
