The Rosenbergs have that very indie, very arty, luxurious sort of sound. Although highly listener-friendly, it is not music that format radio would probably ever be smart enough to embrace. College radio? Definitely. However, major radio is generally too limited in scope to find a band this good. The Rosenbergs are the kind of band you wish your local radio station were cool enough to play.

The members of this New York-based outfit are: David Fagin (vocals/guitar), Bobby Gilmartin (guitar/vocals), Travis Huff (drums/vocals) and Evan Silverman (bass, vocals). They have shared gigs with Alex Chilton, Duran Duran, Bush and the Refreshments, and even had their music featured on "Dawson’s Creek" and "Party of Five." New York’s K-ROCK named The Rosenbergs last year’s “Best Unsigned Band” and British trendsetter Jon Peel regularly features them on his BBC radio show. They have been featured in Billboard, Musician, Noise and Rockpile.
