Quickie's MUSICBLITZ Exclusive, "Hell in a Habitrail," may kick off with a guitar riff straight out of the Who's "I Can't Explain," but the similarities end there. This is pure '80s power pop that's sure to appeal to fans of Cheap Trick or the Cars. It sounds like a lost tune from the soundtrack to Fast Times at Ridgemont High, replete with handclaps, raucous harmonies, and sharp guitars and drums. Even the title is a phrase you'd expect perpetual stoner Jeff Spicoli to use. In fact, all the lyrics are surreal enough to have been written by Spicoli (or someone similarly influenced), with couplets like " So far, so good / Everything is pink and blue / Some things you oughta know / Never come to you anonymous drone" being par for the course. It all works together, though -- the song is incredibly infectious, and repeated use may make you feel so good, you'll think you've been spending a little time with Spicoli yourself! But please, don't hit yourself in the head with a shoe to show us how much you love it -- just tell your friends you got it from MUSICBLITZ!

Freakin' genius. Better than anything on the radio right now. Seriously. I promise. I just downloaded this for the hell of it....I'd never heard about these guys before. This is a hit.
