  Lagwagon
Leave The Light On
Album: Let's Talk About Feelings
Genres: Punk
Solid (if uninspired) pop-punk -- this is the stereotypical "Fat Wreck Chords sound" again, though Lagwagon does it as well as anyone, for whatever that’s worth.

Fat Wreck Chords is often criticized for having a "house sound," or to be less polite about it, for having a whole lot of bands that sound exactly alike – generic knock-offs of some of Fat's best known acts, especially No Use For a Name and (label founder Fat Mike's band) NOFX. While that's not a completely fair criticism of the label (which is actually pretty diverse), it is a fair criticism of this track from Lagwagon, which is the stereotypical "Fat sound" to a "T." Punk fans know what this is – they either love it or hate it, and nothing a reviewer can say will change their minds. For the benefit of those who aren't familiar, though, this is a hooky, pop-influenced brand of punk with a dollop of hardcore thrown in to give it a little more skate park cred. Lagwagon's version of it here is as good as anyone's, and though it's decidedly less inspired than some other versions, it's easy to see why the kids eat this up. It's the aural equivalent of oatmeal -- it's hearty, and sticks to your ribs, but is ultimately kind of bland and unsatisfying. However, they do get bonus points for the Welcome to the Dollhouse reference tacked on the end…

It is not right to say that Lagwagon is a stereotypical fat band. It's actually the opposite,I guess someone like Julio they even bother to check out the history of the band.Lagwagon was one of Fat's first bands and they had that sound since the begining and laid the basis for the yet to come bands.Shut up Julio you're stupid!

Lagwagon..ahhh. Lagwagon. I don't think they have a song that sounds different from the last. Never-the-less I liked it, I am a sucker for a the wagon.

For being veterans of the punk rock game, you think that Lagwagon could come up with a little more inventive attitude on their latest single. The sample outtake from the end is perhaps the highlight, and most of the punk assault is left unnoticed as it climzxes way too soon, and leaves the listener unsatisfied....A bit disappointing.
