Damian Higgins, isn't afraid to get rough with his drum 'n' bass. Just check out this track from last year's The 6ixth Session, on which the Philadelphia-based DJ rolls out seven minutes' worth of punishing beats and angry analog scratches. Dieselboy keeps the intensity level high throughout, making the track almost suffocating at times. But the DJ knows when enough is enough: Every now and then, he drops the pressure of his beats for a few well-timed seconds.
