No-frills troub-rock relies on Blakely’s nakedly spare and distinctively twangy vocal to captivate the listener. “Since I Found You” is a simple love song with those straightforward “I can’t believe you’re in my life”-type lyrics and a romantically mellow groove. The song, though pleasantly loping in its laidback, early-Eagles vibe, is curiously lacking in drama – close your eyes and the band is seated on stools before you, bathed in warm yellow spotlights. Fuzzy guitars and unobtrusive drums drive the bittersweet melody, (which suffers in spots from Blakely’s tendency toward a sing song delivery), and, luckily, the band delves into some dynamic turf near the conclusion that wraps the proceedings in a nice, climactic package.

A little cheesy for my taste, but if your into mushy love songs then go for it.
