It took a few years, but the dark clouds of Seattle’s music scene have definitely wafted cross-country. It appears they’ve settled atop suburban Detroit to infiltrate the music of Few & Far Between, a hard rock outfit reveling in hypnotic, twangy grunge. Vocal harmonies capture a wistful sense of desperation and sad longing, thanks to some creative arrangements that showcase powerful dynamics. Bubbling bass and marching rhythms keep the pace moving as fuzzed-up guitar lays a misty fog over the entire proceeding. Download this MUSICBLITZ Exclusive and get caught up in the haze.

this reviewer is an idiot - this is not grunge, it's melodic hardcore rock! these guys are really cool, though --- my zine, standupjack! interviewed them after a local show and they were really friendly, and their show was simply jaw-dropping!
