About Your Friends
Album: n/a
Genres: Alternative
Brave the uncharted waters of "acoustic punk" with its one and only practitioner, Hammell On Trial. The MUSICBLITZ Exclusive "All Your Friends" pits big-rock sneer and attitude vs. a defenseless 6-string acoustic guitar. Winner: Hammell!

A critic’s darling and a deranged live-rock antagonist, Hamell on Trial’s unqiue one-man show is a sight to behold. As much assaulting the guitar as strumming it, Hamell On Trial (a.k.a. Edward Hamell) takes a pit bull personality and splinters any preconceived notions about “singer/songwriters”. On the Musicblitz Exclusive MP3 “About Your Friends”, Hamell takes a piss on his wife’s acquitances with a rockabilly-fueled, frenetically-strummed ditty that showcases H.O.T.’s natural gift of musicianship, gab, and artfully catchy melodies. “Friends” is slighty twangy fare for Hamell, but it fits the trailer-trashy lyrical backdrop for his rumblin’ riffs. Part Southern Culture on the Skids and part Jack Black, Hamell on Trial’s “About your Friends” has more hooks in it than a tackle box. Take a bite!!
