	Riding the 2nd Wave of New School Detroit producers, Stacey Pullen is influenced by techno pioneers Derrick May and Juan Atkins, as this MUSICBLITZ Exclusive, "Magic Windows," goes to show. The lush, smooth keyboards and heavy bass drums, along with the minimal sound, provide a combination reminiscent of Detroit tracks from the early '90s. Although the African-style drum beat rarely changes throughout the song, Pullen captivates his listeners with amazing tricks and tweaks. The song starts off with atmospheric keys and drums, then slowly gets harder, as harsh effects begin to replace the ambient ones. Although not breaking new ground, Pullen manages to produce a track that includes all of the essential traits that inform Detroit techno. This is one that will make his forefathers proud.
