Dave Hollister Take Care Of Home Album: Ghetto Hymns
Genres: R&B
Smooth grooves and thoughtful lyrics are a welcome reprieve from the gratuitous and overtly sexual plotlines running rampant in popular R&B. Take care of your soul and listen up. |

In a music world where sexual bravado and the "lick-'em-up-and-down" motif is the norm, "Take Care Of Home" is a welcome exception. The underlying groove is comfortable and effortless, perfect for your car or your home system. It doesn't beg you to listen, merely invites you...very nicely. After you've been pulled in by the smooth groove, lo and behold you realize that Hollister is sharing an important message and giving good advice. This is a keeper.
