If The Beatles still existed, and were to write harmonious and effervescent pop songs for the new millennium, they'd probably sound like "Strawberryfire." It's quite easy to hear from the ambient melodies, rolling bass-lines and mature lyrics that Apples In Stereo were influenced by The Beatles and Pink Floyd to some degree; however, they manage to conjure up their own musical artistry with this brilliant effort. Close your eyes, take a deep breath and indulge your senses with a truly remarkable maze of enchanting lyrics, mesmerizing rhythms and spiritual moods....this is what musical dreams were supposed to be made of.

Complex layers and blending . . . it's a gourmet Portobello Wellington in a sea of Quarter Pounders with Cheese.

Whenever they sing "Strawberry", I think I'm listening to the Beatles. Nice mellow guitar sections mixed into the psychrock.

I've heard this song before on WUTK-FM's "Supersonic Sounds"... it's very spacy sounding. Definitely not your everyday emo. The vocals sound a bit feminine, but it's all good. Very chill tune.
