Recorded live at Antone's in 1987, this blues ballad showcases Cotton's soulful singing and his wailing harp chops. The band, which includes longtime compadres Pinetop Perkins and Matt "Guitar" Murphy, cooks up a forceful groove, but never gets in the way of Cotton's ferocious performance. Throat problems have seriously diminished Cotton's vocal abilities during the last decade, but this track provides a welcome glimpse of the man in his awe-inspiring prime.

LOV THE SONG
YVETTE_VELEZ
Nice. This is the kind of song you would hear in a movie in that scene where some scantly clad woman is slinking across the smokey bar toward a mysterious man in a Dick Tracy-esque getup. Yeah, you know what I'm talking about
Kristin
What a sad ballad... my heart cries for this man as he sings. A cool song.
