L.A.'s Damon Aaron uplifts the soul as easily as he inspires it on this moving track. Set to a lightly strummed guitar and the faintest of drum beats, his tenor voice lulls the listener into a state of happiness and hope. Horns punctuate the song occasionally, while backing vocals add strength and depth to Aaron's voice. But his vocals, heartfelt and emotional, are by far the song's most memorable aspect. A beauty of a track that's worth checking out.

wow! i mean really wow! i've been checking this outstanding master of the six-strings since his days playing with hindu casual wear, conductor and as the guitar palayer for one of the greatest hip-hop bands of all time, the blk dot troopers. i does my heart good to see that he is still keeping it real and he is still on point. keep on keeping on brother damon. shalom!
dj kut ready ( of big ass magnet )
the song 'the outside' shows the genius of what has become known as the pasadena sound. damon aaron is without a doubt a musical inovator and an inspiration to all artist entering into the age of aquarius. if there were more songs of this supreme quality on the radio, i would have no problems allowing my daughter to have a listen. give thanks and praise to damon aaron!
