As this live rendition of a party tune from 1997's Let Me Play With Your Poodle reveals, Marcia may not have the best voice in the world, but her fiery piano playing more than makes up for her vocal limitations. Her sax player gets off a nice solo here, but it seems almost dull compared to her ferocious keyboard runs, which somehow manage to be precise and funky and the same time. If N'awlins R&B is your bag, you should definitely enjoy a whiff o' this.
