It's not Stevie Ray Vaughan, but an incredible simulation! |

Recorded live at the Sunset Strip House of Blues in the fall of '97, ".32 Blues" encompasses all of Chris Duarte's strengths and weaknesses. Duarte is obviously one hell of a guitar player, but he still hasn't really developed his own style, and the ghost of Stevie Ray Vaughan hangs heavily over this ten-minute string-stretching showcase. Also, while his voice is certainly pleasant in an unaffected, Stevie Ray Vaughan kinda way, it lacks the power needed to sustain your interest in the song's seemingly endless narrative. (The lack of a memorable melody doesn't help much, either.) If you just can't get enough of bluesy guitar heroics, check it out; otherwise, this is just a waste of download time.
