For producers who became some of the most recognizable faces in the supposedly faceless realm of dance music, the Crystal Method’s latest track is surprisingly unremarkable. Kirkland and Jordan punctuate their spiraling big beats with various squelchy synthesizer riffs and a woman’s voice whispering “I want some more” (could be the same vocalist responsible for TCM’s earlier query, “Why can’t you trip like I do?”) “More” is competent dance fodder, but its nothing you haven’t heard before -- and nothing you won’t forget as soon as the lights come up |
