Gene Loves Jezebel Love Keeps Dragging Me Down Album: VII
Genres: Alternative,Pop
If you went to college in the ‘80s, wore a lot of black and deejayed at your school's radio station, this G.L.J. tune is definitely for you. |

Talk about a throwback -- with its chiming electric guitars, Jay Aston's doom-tinged vocals and a naggingly catchy chorus, "Love Keeps Dragging Me Down" sounds like a college radio hit circa 1988. Still, the sheer quality of this song from Gene Loves Jezebel is in no way obscured by its outdated trappings. If anthem Goth rock is your thing, you'll be all over this one like flies on a corpse.

Oh my, this song really drags me down.
Cornelius Crawford
This song is a little dark, but what can you expect with a title like "Love Keeps Dragging Me Down." A great song if you're down on your luck in love
