Toni Braxton He Wasn't Man Enough Album: The Heat
Genres: R&B
Toni gives up the dirty “411” on her ex to his latest conquest. Sisterly love, or sour grapes? |

Attitude, attitude, attitude. This R&B-flavored dance-pop ditty is drenched in it. In her deep, authoritative, church-fed voice, Toni reminds her ex’s new lover that “I already had him first.” Sour grapes? Nah. Apparently, the dude wasn’t man enough to keep it in his pants around other women, and she pities the foolish next victim who falls for his charms. What starts out as a claws-up cat fight turns into almost sisterly advice as she warns her successor: “Her won’t ever change/girl you better recognize the game.”
