Go deep into the heart of 21st century dub with this thumping, tripped-out track from a conscious new UK trio. |

The Invaders’ download page namechecks the great dub engineer Scientist as a point of comparison for their work, and it isn’t unwarranted. This lean electrobeat instrumental, loaded up with plenty of echoing blips, bleeps and sound effects, is somewhat similar to Scientist’s computerized dub. Like the Jamaican tracks the band has obviously studied, however, it’s the bubbling bassline that will drive this one into your memory. Fans of reggae-loving Brits like Renegade Soundwave and Leftfield, take note.
