Describing their music as "house with guitars," France's Rinocerose infuse their made-for-the-dancefloor beats with bright guitar lines. Admittedly, the tack sets them apart from their contemporaries. And in the case of "Le Mobilier," the ploy is necessary, putting the band's signature on what could otherwise be a new Stardust single. In this sense, Rinocerose's use of guitars should be one of their greatest strength's. Sadly, though, what makes the band unique also results in some of the song's more grating moments. Just watch as a mid-track solo turns into pointless guitar wankery. Up until now, house music has generally been guitar-free. One listen to "Le Mobilier," and you'll see why.

I totally agree, this is unimaginatively bland garbage. I paid $10 for this 12", couldn't believe what I did when I got home. This one's almost as bad as that Crystal Method track! Sheesh!
