Motley Crue Hell On High Heels Album: New Tattoo
Genres: Metal
The band that put the "cock" in "Cock Rock" return for their first release of the new millennium -- we miss Tommy Lee. |

Let me be frank. Listening to Motley Crue minus Tommy Lee is like taking a sandwich to an All-You-Can-Eat buffet -- you just don't do it. "Hell On High Heels" sounds like nothing more than a desperate attempt at recapturing Motley's long-gone glory days. Oh sure, it sounds like Motley Crue, but without the bite and genuine swagger of their strongest work. Vince's vocals are overproduced to the point where you know he won't be able to pull them off live, and the lyrics (never the band's strong suit) are banal even by Crue standards. Who knows, maybe they'll get it up on the rest of the album, but this track just sounds like a paycheck.

I Love Motley Crue, and a drummer doesn't make the band. Randy Castillo is just as good as Tommy, Tommy is way overrated and is just known for the chicks he's fucked not for his ability. Hell On High Heels is refreshing to hear from The Crue, it isn't alternative like Generation Swine and there is no John Corabi on vox. I love the song it was a great single and I think the real Motley Crue is back.

The Crue Rules! But not without Tommy....this is poor

Boohiss! This stinks! Is that Crue or Warrant? I mean the Motley ones never were the hardest of rockers, but this -- I'd be embarrassed.
