	Britain's Saint Etienne set their sights on American shores with this track off their latest album, Sound of Water. As is always the case with the trio's music, "Downey, CA" offers a perfect showcase for Sarah Cracknell's luscious voice. But it's the song's dreamy keyboards that provide the backbone of the track, as they lazily drift beneath Cracknell's soft croon. Set to a slow samba rhythm, "Downey, CA" gently rocks you to sleep like a mother's lullaby, making for another gorgeous offering from these masters of electronic pop.
