As the saying goes, good things come to those who wait. Just ask Aimee Mann, who spent years being jerked around by labels before scoring big with her soundtrack to Magnolia. The singer/songwriter continues her winning streak with "Red Vines," off her third and latest release, Bachelor No. 2. A bittersweet pop song, the track shows off Mann's knack for eagle-eyed introspection. It also highlights her distinctive voice, which only grows stronger with age. If there's any justice left in the world, this won't be the last we hear from Mann; she's simply too good not to keep around.
