The guitars are furious, the rhythm is bombastic, and the vocals are harsh and guttural -- sounds like Earth Crisis to me! The first single from their forthcoming release, Slither, “Provoke” sticks to the tried-and-true formula that has served the band well since their 1995 debut, All Out War -- in short, fans and the more open-minded uninitiated will love it. The problem with Earth Crisis, of course, is that their straight-edge, socially conscious lyric bent is not for everyone. Still, it’s the music that really does the talking, and like its title, “Provoke” is sure to get a strong response from any fan of metal or hard music.

I've been a fan of EARTH CRISIS since day one in new york. I think the SLITHER album is a kick-ass move and it will get a lot more fans. STRAIGHTEDGE IS THE ONLY WAY. Damn BLAKE. I agree with JAMIE, since when has it been "metal". The move they did with this album is better than what snapcase did. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING? They went fugazi(ish) and now they have a video?!?!? I'm a fan of fugazi, but it's not snapcase anymore. sorry. HEHE true DUSTIN. I'm wondering the same thing and hopefully, they won't. PS: I wonder if they'll ever play @ "the barn" ever again or if they're too rockstar(ish)........
