Firing the first shot in the militant “rockers” style, the Mighty Diamonds delivered a debut masterpiece in 1975 with the groundbreaking Right Time. On that album, the Jamaican trio of Donald “Tabby” Shaw, Fitzroy “Bunny” Simpson and Lloyd “Judge” Ferguson sweetened their diamond-hard roots reggae with silky harmonies to create a conscious classic. It’s a formula the band has adapted successfully time and time again over the years, and they’ve done it once more with “So Life Goes,” a MUSICBLITZ Exclusive download that glistens with the dazzling finish you can only get from a group of consummate professionals. Shaw’s legendarily pure vocals are still the key, losing none of the sweetness that have made the Diamonds a force to be reckoned with since their debut. After that triumph, the group quickly showed it was no one-trick pony: the Diamonds followed with a string of strong, late ‘70s albums like Ice on Fire that cemented their reputation as one of reggae’s greatest vocal trios.

This is an absolutely excellent track from the ever consistent Mighty Diamonds.Wonderful harmonies and lead vocals give this song a depth reminiscent of many great soul classics which sadly seem now a thing of yesteryear.This is a great song and will get plenty of plays here.
