The underground king packs this short, sweet and simple head-nodder with plenty of lyrical dynamite. |

This lord of the underground doesn’t need a lot of bells and whistles to impress with his lyrical gifts. Here “the kid with the ill computer flow” -- a commanding voice with a semi-staccato, semi-robotic voice -- drops his verbal bombs over a simple thumping beat. “Bump this shit in your new car system / The pinnacle of sinister, the cynical wisdom,” he tells us, and it’s no idle boast. The “yi-yi-yay, yi-yi-yo” hook is no match for the scream-back chorus of his hit, “Simon Says,” but the track is still pretty damn catchy.
