This is a pleasant enough pop-rock ditty, with a down-homey edge courtesy of some cool acoustic guitar flourishes. The song loses a bit of steam during the colorless bridge, overall, "Love, Salvation, the Fear of Death" is packed with pep -- the kind that makes you wanna' to roll down the windows, slide open the sun-roof, and gun it. One caveat, though -- the track’s upbeat tone is a bit of a mismatch with lyrics about self-pity and self-loathing. Mismatch #2: singer Leigh's sweet, non-descript vocals just don't cut it on a song about a troubled soul looking for salvation. A little more angst would've made her "Fear" more convincing.

Wonderful song, simply.

Reminds me of the Sundays... whimsical vocals, but definitely not "Kiss Me." It's a cool track.
