On this track from Broke, (hed)'s latest CD, frontman Jahred tries to sound like he's "down," but merely comes across like yet another fratboy blowhard laboring under the (mistaken) impression that he has actual rap skills. If that wasn't bad enough, the song's chorus is a direct rip from Rare Earth's "I Just Want To Celebrate," though lame substitute lyrics like "I just want your company" make you wonder why they even bothered. Sure, the guitar riffs ain't bad, but for the most part this is just another lousy American rap-rock band wasting our time with another thoroughly mediocre track.
