Stickfigure Real Faker Album: Feedbag
Genres: Alternative,Rock
When Angels pitcher Jack McDowell isn't tormenting batters with his nasty fastball, he's playing frontman for a punk rock band. Sounds like he got some vocal tips from his rock star buddies. Listen to the track and you'll figure out who they are. |

Chunky, aggressive alt-rock that's entertaining and has thoughtful lyrics, but lacks a killer chorus. The tune may put you in mind of Stone Temple Pilots, particularly given the Vedderish vocal inflections McDowell shares with former STP frontman Scott Weiland.

I could see this being played in a made-for-TV movie. It starts out pretty good, but the chorus stinks. Maybe they could rewrite it and get a good solid track.
