I don’t think I would hear too much dissention if I said that the music world surely doesn’t need another Green Day imitator. But who’s imitating whom? Even though this 1996 gem from Berkeley pop punkers The Mr. T Experience sounds a bit derivative, it ain’t. The fact is that they practically invented the sound that Green Day rode to multi-platinum stardom. Taking a lyrical approach that the Ramones made famous, MTX talks up alienation and dissatisfaction with dismissive ennui and a smart sense of paranoia. Hard, crunchy, and melodic, the tune reverts to its monosyllabic chorus with a happy mix of nihilism and goofiness. If melodic pop punk is your bag, you might as well get it from the real originators and not the imitators. The song will definitely leave you feeling groovy.

infamous rachael

I love these guys! I don't know if it's because they admitt to singing "songs about chicks" or if it's the fact that they do a guitar dance similar to ZZ Top..but these guys are some fine entertainers. And their music is a sure way to get you in a fabulous mood.
