An outtake from Radiohead's second album, 1995's The Bends, this track captures the band at a time when it relied more on guitars to propel its music, rather than the dense atmospherics which it used to near-claustrophobic effect on '97's OK Computer. The song is bookended by an interplay between Jonny Greenwood and Ed O'Brien's guitars: one wails with a piercing cry, while the other builds a base of rushing chords beneath it. Singer Thom Yorke plays a brief role in the song, which serves as more of a duet between Greenwood and O'Brien. But when he does appear, his voice shakes with all the emotion the man has bottled up inside. This particular version of the song was recorded live; tight and controlled, it's shows just how much power this talented band wield on a good night.
