  At The Drive-In
One Armed Scissor
Album: Relationship of Command
Genres: Alternative
If Jello Biafra fronted Fugazi, it might sound a little like this dense, raw, and emotional -- yet melodic -- bundle of energetic punk rock.

Fans of Fugazi's dense, free-jazz influenced punk sound should find a lot to like in this track from At the Drive-In. While "One Armed Scissor" is a bit more melodic than Fugazi is usually known for, At the Drive-In definitely have that same kind of energy going for them, that barely-contained emotional fury backed up by a thick, hard sound that commands attention. Cedric's impassioned vocals at times recall Jello Biafra, which only adds to the intensity factor. Even though the lyrics are at times difficult to understand, listeners will have no trouble picking up on the raw emotion and power captured on this track. A worthwhile effort from a band that lives up to its hype.
