MUSICBLITZ LICENSES SONGS FROM ITS EXCLUSIVE CATALOG TO DISNEY, WARNER BROS., USA NETWORK, FOX, MTV AND NBC FOR UPCOMING FILMS AND TELEVISION SHOWS

Songs from The Presidents of the United States of America, Quickie, Spacetime Continuum and Downset Featured in Felicity, Our Lips Are Sealed, Road Rules, Mysterious Ways, Respectively, and Others

Los Angeles, CA- September 18, 2000 - Disney, Warner Bros., USA Network, Fox, MTV Networks and NBC have licensed songs from MUSICBLITZ, an innovative developer of exclusive new music and targeted music brands, for use in upcoming film and television projects. MUSICBLITZ uses feedback from consumer downloads to pre-qualify its entire catalog of exclusive music. The most popular songs are then made available to the studios for use in films or television shows.

Songs from MUSICBLITZ's exclusive catalog have been licensed for a variety of television shows. Touchstone/Disney has licensed music from the multi-platinum modern rock band The Presidents of the United States of America for the season premiere of Felicity on the WB Television Network. USA Network has also licensed music from The Presidents for Team MXG, a lifestyle show geared toward young adults. Fox Television has chosen music from the up-and-coming Seattle band Quickie for American High and the Fox Family Channel's Our Lips Are Sealed, featuring the Olsen twins. MTV is including a track from the ambient electronic group Spacetime Continuum in an upcoming episode of Road Rules. NBC has also licensed a song from the hard-core/hip-hop group Downset for Mysterious Ways. 

MUSICBLITZ and 20th Century Fox are also running a joint promotion for the new film DUDE, WHERE'S MY CAR? Bands can submit songs to MUSICBLITZ via a special Web site (www.musicblitz.com/dude) for possible inclusion in the film. 20th Century Fox will review the ten most popular songs, as determined by online voters, and will include one in the movie. Additionally, music from The Presidents of the United States of America, Bobby Womack and Spacetime Continuum has been licensed for a new film being directed and produced by Montel Williams.
