MUDHONEY RECORDS EXCLUSIVE NEW SINGLE FOR MUSICBLITZ

Influential Seattle Band Teams with Producers Wayne Kramer and Jack Endino on "Inside Job"

Los Angeles, CA-April 27, 2000- Mudhoney, a cornerstone of Seattle's famed music scene, has recorded a new single, called "Inside Job," exclusively for MUSICBLITZ. Co-produced by former MC5 guitarist Wayne Kramer and Jack Endino (Nirvana, Soundgarden), the song is only available as a free download from MUSICBLITZ at http://www.musicblitz.com.

MUSICBLITZ is an online music company that funds and provides resources for established and up-and-coming musicians to record original music for online distribution. MUSICBLITZ's exclusive songs are fully supported by an integrated online and offline marketing campaign.

Mudhoney's fuzzed-out guitar and gritty vocals became the signature Seattle sound of the late '80s and early '90s. Vocalist/guitarist Mark Arm and guitarist Steve Turner first started playing together in 1984 in Green River - along with Mother Love Bone and Pearl Jam members Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament. Mudhoney formed in 1988 when Arm and Turner joined with drummer Dan Peters and former Melvins bassist Matt Lukin. Their first single, "Touch Me I'm Sick" (SubPop), has been called "the definitive grunge song" and was prominently parodied by Matt Dillon in the Cameron Crowe movie Singles.

Jack Endino has produced albums for many of Seattle's most respected bands. He has worked with Nirvana, Soundgarden, L7, Mudhoney, Screaming Trees, Babes in Toyland, Green River, 7 Year Bitch, Supersuckers and Tad, among others.

Wayne Kramer, who also makes a guest appearance playing bass on "Inside Job," was one-fifth of Detroit's incendiary punk band MC5 and has had a string of successful solo albums during the 1990s. He is presently working with MUSICBLITZ as a producer, A&R consultant and recording artist. Kramer has enlisted several respected musicians, including Dee Dee Ramone, Pere Ubu, Mother Superior (Rollins Band) and The Street Walking Cheetahs to record new material exclusively for MUSICBLITZ. His own "Crawling Outta the Jungle" is also available for free download at www.musicblitz.com.
