Welcome !
    Buddy Guy
Buddy Guy Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf may be gone, but Buddy Guy is keeping classic Chicago blues alive. Born in Lettsworth, Louisiana in 1936, Buddy honed his skills on the Baton Rouge blues circuit before heading north in 1957 to seek his fortune in Chicago. Though times were initially tough, Guy soon made a name for himself by playing sessions with Muddy, Wolf, Little Walter, Koko Taylor and Sonny Boy Williamson. In time, Guy's solo efforts (and his records with harpist Junior Wells) would establish him as one of the Windy City's greats, and would stir the admiration of folks like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Currently enjoying a decade-long resurgence of popularity, Guy continues to tour and record with the vigor of a man half his age. He also runs Buddy Guy's Legends, one of Chicago's top blues clubs.
