Hedwrap A multiracial London quintet with dual lead singers, Hedwrap shows a love for the vintage soul and funk that inspired countrymen like Brand New Heavies. Vocalists Shaleen and Diana were recruited by bassist Thomas for a studio project. The trio clicked so well they decided to advertise for more members, resulting in the addition of drummer Ricky and keyboardist Steve in August 1999. Since that time, the group has been pursuing its organic brand of R&B, occasionally augmenting the lineup with various rappers and DJs. |
