Welcome !
    Soggy Bottom Boys
The Soggy Bottom Boys are a fictional group conceived for the Coen Brothers’ film O Brother, Where Art Thou? Taking place in Depression-period Mississippi, the film utilizes the outfit -- which features real bluegrass fixtures like lead singer Dan Tyminski, Dobro player Jerry Douglas, and fiddler Stuart Duncan -- to lend further credibility to an already-solid soundtrack consisting of mountain music, blues and gospel.

They may be a pretend group, but they still sound convincing, with emphasis on the “blue” in bluegrass. All you “new country” cowboys run and hide, ya hear?
