Welcome !
    DJ Dan
Born in Olympia, Washington, DJ Dan first started spinning on the L.A. rave scene in the early '90s. He hooked up with one of the cities top DJs, Ron D. Core; as the L.A. rave scene started to peter out, the duo launched the club No-Doz. At the same time, Dan's interest was piqued by San Francisco's fledgling funky house scene, and he soon moved to the Bay Area, becoming a resident DJ with the Funky Tekno Tribe. He scored his first international hit with the single "Loose Caboose," which he co-wrote and produced with Jim Hopkins under the moniker Electroliners. The record was picked up by XL Records in the U.K., and led to a partnering with DJ Carl Cox. Dan released his first full-length compilation, Beats 4 Freaks, in 1998 on the California label Moonshine; Funk the System, also on Moonshine, followed in 1999. 2000 saw the release of the full-length compilation album Another Late Night, on Moonshine, and the single "Put That Record Back On," on the Kinetic label.
