The Herbaliser are a London-based duo fronted by Jake Wherry and DJ Ollie Teeba. They blend the juices of funk, hip hop, electronica and jazz to create a final concoction that just plain grooves. Wherry's childhood diet consisted of helpings of James Brown and jazz. Later, he discovered an appetite for hip hop, jazz and funk. Teeba's route into a music career was paved by his early love of spinning wax. Together, the two friends have found a way to cross-pollinate these various sounds and breed a style of music that is as fresh, tasty and kind as the name they use.
