Formed in Delaware nearly a decade ago, the quartet did some time in Philadelphia before lighting out for San Francisco in 1995. Once there, they found a staunch ally in former Dead Kennedys frontman Jello Biafra, who was so taken by the band's "hardcore Motown" sound that he signed them to his Alternative Tentacles imprint.
